Cabaret

Das Musical

The TIPI AM KANZLERAMT becomes a cabaret, hosting the world-famous musical about life, passion and despair in Berlin under the darkening skies of approaching fascism.

This production: Seite drucken

10 Years CABARET- The Musical in Berlin

Welcome to the Kit Kat Club right next to the Chancellor’s office!

Based on true events and real lives, CABARET portrays the experiences of the English writer Christopher Isherwood, who lived in the Berlin district of Schöneberg from 1929 to 1933, making real life the source of this highly sensual theatrical experience.

The story of the carefree nightclub-singer Sally Bowles in the glittering yet shady milieu of the Golden Twenties immortalised the city of Berlin as the city of historical fractures, caught between glamour and the gutter, between dreams and despair.

This production of CABARET is the work of director and star choreographer Vincent Paterson, who has developed choreographies for Madonna and Michael Jackson as well as for Lars von Trier's Dancer in The Dark.

Piano Battle

Von und mit Andreas Kern & Paul Cibis

The black and the white are ready to fight. Two piano champions on stage; one in black, the other in white. Welcome to the Piano Battle !!

This production: Seite drucken

The brainchild of internationally accomplished pianists Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis, the Piano Battle sees the duo go head-to-head on stage, charming and enchanting the audience with a variety of classical pieces. The two artists, with distinctly different performance styles, take turns to perform pieces by composers such as Chopin, Liszt and Debussy. They will even improvise based on the tunes you request.

A competition wouldn’t be a competition without a jury but here – You will be the judge. All members of the audience are invited to vote on the pianists performances and eventually decide who the winner is. And this might not be the limit of your participation …

Part serious classical recital, part tongue-in-cheek performance by two piano geniuses, the Piano Battle is a unique concert that pleases both the eye and the ear.

“Ole”, the Adrenalin Show, is one of the most high energy original, funny, and spectacular performances that will surprise and excite the unsuspecting audience from the moment they step on stage to the last standing member.

Nicole Nau & Luis Pereyra

„Vida“ – ein Fest der Sinne

They dance the pain, the hope, the joy and the power of their people. They dance the moment, they live the moment - again and again.

This production: Seite drucken

The Great Dance of Argentina

Full of intensity, full of passion and vitality.

"Vida" is a tribute to the culture of their home country, Argentina: the tango with its melancholy, its elegance and eroticism - but also with its natural power, its playful ease and joy that are far too often concealed by clichés. Nicole Nau and Luis Pereyra see themselves as empathic cultural ambassadors of Argentina. They don't put a show on stage, rather a slice of Argentine life - in which, of course, the tango occupies a prominent place.

"Vida" transports the audience to rural Argentina where they dance the vidala, the zamba, the chacarera. The powerful game on the big bombo drums, the rapid Argentinian steps  which the gauchos compete with, and the neck-breaking spins of the boleadoras are pure rhythm, bursting with energy.

Ediths siebenundfünfzichster Geburtstach!

The gala show for Ades Zabel's 50th birthday with Ades Zabel, Biggy van Blond, Bob Schneider, Nicolai Tegeler and Stefan Kuschner.

This production: Seite drucken

Berlin's comedy star and all-round entertainer Ades Zabel is 50 years old! To celebrate, the creator of Neukölln's most famous housewife, HARTZ VIII Queen Edith Schröder, presents an outstanding gala show. Three decades of creativity await us, from the almost lost Super 8 film gems from Ades' beginnings as a West Berlin underground film maker in the 80s, to the legendary playback classics from the Teufelsberg production of the 90s, to today's highlights from the five Edith Schröder Neuköllnicals by the Ades Zabel Company. In addition to Edith and her friends, there is a reunion with many other creations in the Zabel universe, such as a retired primary school teacher Karin Hoene, the chavvy Hürriyet Lachmann or aggro Alzheimer Emma C. Wuttke.
But the man behind these quirky, eccentric figures allows us some personal insight into his half a century of life off-stage, which is revealed in brief interviews.

A hysterical, multimedia retrospective of film, music and comedy, presented by daughter-by-choice, Biggy van Blond.

Gayle Tufts

Love!

Our thoroughbred entertainer is in her prime and she's In LOVE! - energetic, radiant - how could it be anything but ... in love!

This production: Seite drucken

This winter she passionately presents tender ballads and lively pop songs, all wrapped up in a seductive glittering show. The stage is the scene of her love life, shimmering in a rainbow of colours - a hilariously funny reckoning with grim stereotypes and clichés all about the happiness of the heart.

Along the way, she expands her horizons to a "lovely" country that voted an ex-communist and a physicist as its Chancellor. She looks back in the most beautiful, dry Denglish as she embarks on a search for her inner Stralsund as Mrs Merkel and falls in love again and again with the country of her choice.

She is accompanied by the "very gifted" composer and pianist Marian Lux and the "Strings de Lux" strings. All very heart-warming and romantic on our tent stage next to the Chancellery.
