Sheketak
Rhythm in Motion
Sheketak use their bodies to full effect to impress the audience with a creative and energetic dance and percussion show that not only causes hearts to beat faster in their home country of Israel.
"Are they not running out of breathe, yet?" you might ask – but the artists of Sheketak use their breathing skillfully as part of the sound effects surrounding their act. The show of these young artists from Israel is an impressive composition made up of dance, music, comedy and video installations. Hip-Hop, break-dance and breathtaking freestyle choreographies give testimony to the dancers’ extraordinary command of their own bodies, which they use every now and again during the performance as realistic percussion instruments. The spectrum ranges from filigree shadowplay behind a white screen to ecstatic drum performances. The acoustics provided by the breathing and physical moves of the artists are supported by a live band, whose sounds will not allow you to sit still for very long.

Who says, that only greying men are interested in political cabaret?
Although he's still under 30, Florian Schroeder is already a satirist with his own two television shows - the late-night show "SCHROEDER!" and satirical talk show "Seitensprung" (Bit On The Side). Personally he's actually alright.
He is now touring across Germany with his second successful new show. In this show Schroeder - a self-confessed member of the media generation - paints a fine portrait of his generation: with more intimate piercings than mobile ringtones, degree in hand they head out into the global village while their parents stay at home searching online for their next partner in the emotional used-car dealership PARSHIP.
What's more, for the first time on German stages Schroeder presents the "baby makers' MOT" and introduces Nicolas Sarkozy's long-lost twin brother. Most recently he parodies Merkel, Schäuble and various other prominent figures of satire. Finally he buries the concept of marriage. All in all, a night for the whole family.
