On this particular evening, Dr. Pop strikes a rather gentler tone. Alongside his fascinating musical insights, he allows both himself and the audience the pleasure of hearing songs in their full length—rather than in the whirlwind of Hitverdächtig—and invites everyone to sing along as he accompanies them at the piano. Audience participation is not only welcome, but warmly encouraged. In quieter moments, Dr. Pop reads excerpts from his forthcoming book, to be published by KiWi in April 2026.

Dr. Pop is a German musical cabaret artist, stand-up comedian, presenter, author and musicologist. He is well known for his weekly radio column Dr. Pops Tonstudio on radioeins, for his appearances on numerous cabaret and comedy television programmes, for his contributions as a music expert on shows such as Sat.1 Frühstücksfernsehen, and for his book "Dr. Pops musikalische Sprechstunde".
