Using Britney’s own lyrics and quotes, they cast a critical light on the patriarchal structures that enabled it, call out the media’s role, and celebrate the power of a true grassroots movement (#FreeBritney).

Despite the serious subject matter, their joy of singing and passion for pop are always front and centre. Fresh impulses come from songs by Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo, Chappell Roan brings the glamour, and unexpected twists arrive courtesy of MUSE, Deichkind, and Clueso. Klangwerk 306 may not always have the answers to today’s big questions — but thanks to Rio Reiser, they know exactly which ones to ask: If not now, when? If not here, where? If not with love, how?
